We stayed for one night at the hotel, with its lovely pool, and enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the attractive restaurant. The staff were all polite, helpful and efficient, both in the hotel and the restaurant, including the owner, who works cheerfully alongside the staff. We chose one of the tasting menus and found the savoury courses delicious an inventive array of amuse bouches, followed by succulent rabbit,... View all feedback.
What Rosanna Sala doesn't like about Albergo Ca'vittoria:
review restaurant 1 star michelin deserved. great service, and interesting menu in modern Piedmont. I do not judge the goto of the dishes as subjective. perhaps to improve and lighten the cake card. partially disappointed hotel review! quality price not up to my opinion. nice pool area, clean room, but nothing exciting. really negative breakfast with frozen products. unforgivable having a star restaurant at 2 meters! Fantastic food and fantastic people. Family owned and friendly. Staying in the hotel made it easy to enjoy the excellent 4-course dinner and plenty of the local wine. A upcoming yearly must
Chef Massimiliano Musso and his team have created a truly magical restaurant. The dinning is set with the walls of where his Great Grandfather opened a bar about 90 years ago. That evening Musso prepared a meal that showed his knowledge and talent of his local Piedmontese cuisine, while blending his own style and modern flare to the food. Bravo
Recommended by friends in New York, we booked this restaurant for our current trip to Piemonte. We were very pleased we did. Situated in the small historical village of Tigliole d'Asti, we arrived and were greeted by the chef's wife who spoke excellent English. Shown around the terrace and given an explanation of how the same family had run the restaurant since 1928, we had high expectations as we were shown to our table in the beautiful dining room, and we were certainly not disappointed. We chose the four course degustation menu with a superb Barbara d'Asti 2011. We were offered a generous array of Amuse Bouche, followed by Rabbit served on smoked Capsicum, Agnellotti with shrimp and pea broth, Lamb with a liquorice cream sauce and spinach leaf then finished with a dessert of Hazlenut and Blueberry parfait and finished with generous petit fours and a fine Moscato. Every dish was totally delicious, beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and with a taste to match. Service was impeccable. Overall, a fantastic and memorable dining experience. Do not miss this restaurant if you are visiting the Piemonte area.
Excellent cuisine, a real culinary experience! very good waiters, especially valentine the sommelier.
Wonderful! a very pleasant experience of the goto guided by the wise hands and ideas of the chef Maximilian musso and his brigade.
