Banning's Pie House - Tigard

The service was good, but the food was rather mediocre. There wasn't anything stand-out about it. I ordered a veggie sandwich with cold fries. However, the waitress was quick to bring me a fresh, hot order of fries, which made the service excellent. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn't impressive. It had a vibe that reminded me of a Denny's.

I recently dined in for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. The meal was delicious, earning a perfect score of 5 for the food. The service was also exceptional, warranting a 5 as well, with attentive and friendly staff making our visit enjoyable. The atmosphere was pleasant, scoring a 4, providing a cozy setting to start the day. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30, which I found reasonable given the quality of the food and service. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for a delightful breakfast.

I've been dining here for over 30 years, and the food continues to be exceptional! They've recently renovated, and the interior looks fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal! The dessert menu is a real treat! I do miss the mud pie, which was wonderful to share with my wife, but they now have an amazing five-layer chocolate cake that's simply incredible! You truly need to visit for a meal; you won't regret it! Service: Dine-in.
