I haven't eaten that goo... read more We visited this restaurant on a Thursday with 4 people spontaneously. We were sceptical due to the reviews here. But we were surprised. I haven't eaten that good in years. The restaurant is mostly visited by locals and it is recommended to book in advance or arrive early. It is directly next to a gas station but inside it is beautifully decorated and really comfortable. They immediately got us an English speaking waiter when we said we can't speak Soanish. We even got an English menu. But let's talk about the food. Our friends ordered from the menu. We asked the waiter to pick the food for us and this was one of the best decisions ever taken. The food we ate was so so good. We started of with bread, tomatoes and aioli. Then we had local ham, the best one I have ever had. The octopus with mashed potato was a first for me and I was surprised with the interesting texture. The main course was a t-bone steak that was an explosion of taste and prepared exactly on point. We finished with cheese cake and something called torrija which was like sweet bread with sugar and cinnamon. Both melted on the tongue and even though we were already stuffed, we ate it all. I don't think I can ever enjoy any other food again. It was a really pleasant experience and we would visit the area again just to eat here.

Bread wit... read more Wow, what a lunchtime we had. Fabulous food, all homemade and fresh. Best mussels ever, artichokes, amazing tomatoes with fresh cheese and dried fish. Bread with grated tomatoes and garlic sauce. Fabulous tasting food. Sirloin steak, lamb chops, chuleton, incredible rice and a bottle of El Seque Alicante red wine which isn't the cheapest but go spoil yourself as it's amazing. Brownies, ice cream, tea and coffee to finish off. Always attentive staff with a smile and skilled enough to come as soon as the first beer was finished to ask if another was required. 100% can't wait to visit again thank you.
