We had a fantastic experience at the Walnut Tree! The vegetable dishes were exceptional, and the pub itself is lovely, featuring great staff and reasonable prices. it is nice to have so many vegan options when they eat, but the experience is often easily missing. service on our last visit was really friendly but slow. we had to change our drinks as we got the wrong ones. a member of our party found a hair in their food and another person had to ask for new cutlery as their unclean was. eating was nice, but I would say it was average. Had a great evening. The place is welcoming with lovely friendly staff and the food is delicious the perfect example of how good vegetarian meals can be! Even the meat eaters in my family all enjoyed the food and will be back!
Food was amazing! Thai Penang curry was so flavoursome and the best I’ve tasted since going to Thailand 7 years ago and that includes going to some Thai restaurants! The dessert was to die for highly recommended and can’t wait to go again!!
Great food really and great service. We had the gyoza, camembert and crispy tofu for starter all well done. For main we had the mushroom Wellington which looks like the speciality beautiful. This place is perfect for vegetarians and vegans well worth any trip!
