Gourmet Burger Kitchen - Thurrock

We ordered a chicken and beef burger, both of which were delicious but a bit pricey. The option to have our burgers without buns was a nice touch. The atmosphere was generally pleasant, and the staff were friendly and efficient. However, there was an issue with the receipt indicating a mandatory service charge of 10%, which was listed as optional. It was not clear why this charge was added when the receipt stated that service was not included. I believe a tip or service charge is acceptable for good service, but not both.

The ambiance of the restaurant was great, but unfortunately, the service and food quality were disappointing. The staff made mistakes with our order and added a strange spice to our fries. Our server was rude, carelessly tossing our food on the table before walking away.

Visited on Good Friday whilst shopping. My daughter wanted to come here, so we did. We didn't realise that until we sat down, that they had an offer, burger, chips and a drink for £9. We ordered four meals and a portion of onion rings. Food and service was good.

First visit to the restaurant and very impressed, food and service first class. Burger cooked to perfection, nothing too much trouble for the staff. Lovely clean restaurant. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
