Elona’s - Thurrock

We had to bring our sons here last minute because they were left out by other places. The staff at The Plough was incredible and my son and his wife had a wonderful wedding here. The food was delicious and worth the price, the rooms were excellent and clean. There was always someone available to offer advice or help, nothing was too much trouble. My niece got married here 16 years ago and I still remember how beautiful it was then. The grounds are still just as beautiful.

Visited for a high-time reception, can not speak for the bedrooms as we do not stay overnight, but first there is a massive parking space so parking should not be a problem. what we saw from the ground was nice. Eating was really good for the mass-filled and the evening buffet was excellent. drinks were a reasonable price and a good choice. a bit of feedback when we arrived, we let it pour ourselves and it hardly went about 7 of us, and we ran out of milk. 3 of us asked tee that came into a pot, but no larger cups made available. a little thing that was only as remarkable as everything else was so good. if they consider a high-time reception place, then this should be definitiw on their list.

I visited this restaurant for a special occasion with my cousin. The garden area was stunning and the main dining hall had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly, however, the young server working at night could improve by smiling more and appearing happier instead of coming across as annoying. Overall, it was a lovely place for a special occasion. The location was perfect and the room was clean and well-maintained. I would definitely visit this restaurant again as it was a very pleasant experience.

I had a great experience at this restaurant on a Saturday night. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant were fantastic. I have never seen a busy restaurant run so smoothly.

Stayed here last weekend for a wedding nearby. The room was very nice, clean and the bed was comfy. The staff were very helpful on more than one occasion. Will definitely stay here again.
