Great fun for our family with two small kids. The arcade was expensive, but we were on holiday, so we splurged. Kids loved the decor, games, and the redemption centre selection. Was on the fence about eating here as well, but the food was actually really good. Will return next time we are out this way. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wacky's:
Its always nice to buy food in Canada as it always works out cheaper when you convert dollar to the £, but WW was so overpriced for what it was which shocked me. The service was ok but I had to laugh when the server told us someone had to go out and buy milk for my 4 yr. old nephews drink! He then had to wait for his kids meal which arrived once everybody else had finished. I guess if you went on "unlimited wings" it... View all feedback.
We were here in 2016 shortly after their opening and enjoyed the food, the service and the place overall. Not so on this latest visit. We were a group of 7 and it was obvious at the onset that our server, Mariah, had no sense of humour and didn't really care to give the pretense of wanting to be taking care of our table. Not certain why since we were mostly a group of over 50's - or perhaps that was the problem. No, the lively Mariah was far more concerned with chatting with her colleagues than showing any interest in delivering good service. That she had no sense of humour is fine if she simply did her job. She was impatient when we asked for things, forgot to bring other items like sauces or waters that we requested and she seemed anxious to get us out however when I wanted to settle my bill she was nowhere to be found. Now if they'd been remotely busy, I would have had all the understanding in the world for her. the place wad dead and it was a Friday evening. If you're going to work in the service industry, you do require a basic personality and interest in people. At one point the young fools who work there decided to turn the music's volume so high you could scarcely hear the person next to you who was screaming at you! Totally unnecessary! Some other folks asked to have it turned down and they complied. The food and beer was good butclearly there's been. Some huge shift in management, because the quality of staff they had originally is gone! Clearly reflected in the few people there on a Friday night. I was so displeased by the service, I left $0.00 as a tip and I am usually extremely generous with gratuity. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place - there are enough great places in Thunder Bay.

Unfortunately my daughter chose Wacky's for my husbands birthday dinner
We were here a couple weeks ago for a few drinks while visiting Thunder Bay. Have to say, the building was quite impressive! Large number of TV's, including a massive projector screen, and a couple other very large screens. Definitely a place to watch some live sporting events. And there was a whole other very large arcade area, with games, pool tables, etc. Great spot for kids!Service was good, the restaurant was very clean, and it was alot of fun.We didn't eat, so can't comment on the food. But they had a good choice of local craft beers.Certainly recommend it.
