If you're craving authentic Jamaican food in Thunder Bay this is the place for you. Very clean restaurant, convenient location and Ted is the friendliest owner/chef you'll ever meet.I usually get take out from here once a month or so. I and my taste buds were so incredibly happy to have recently found this place that they would tingle when I drove even when this place was closed. Like The Shining but with food.Now I'm sad that this is his last week. I'm happy for him but my tastebuds will be in mourning from next week onwards.Kind humble man, the world needs more like him.

Ted's jerk is good, sometimes it is overcooked slightly, but the rice and beans under the chicken more than make up for it. And the hot sauce is amazing.
I am new to Thunder Bay from BC and just found Ted's kitchen I will definitely be going back what a lovely man, excellent service, thank you so much. And the ice cream is phenomenal!!! hard ice cream, Great price, beats out all the others I have tried in town ???
Great, flavorful food but but some of it too spicy to eat. Would be nice if they asked to house by CU would like it before they make it.
