After a long day of driving and feeling... read more We visited one evening, arriving just under an hour before closing. The three staff members on duty truly made our day! After a long day of driving and feeling exhausted, we were in need of a quick meal, and these guys were fantastic! Instead of showing frustration at having customers so close to closing time, they provided service that was just as energetic and friendly as if we were their first customers. They patiently went over the menu with us, highlighted the local favorites, and answered all our questions. The food exceeded our expectations—much better than what we usually find at sub shops in the southern US. Although we were only in town for one night, I have no doubt we would have eaten here every day if we had stayed longer. Before we left, they even shared their personal recommendations for things to see the next day, which was a level of service that's hard to come by these days. I highly recommend giving them a try; you won't be disappointed by the food or the service!
