I was fortunate to get a big, bright room with a private courtyard in the 4th floor (climbing a wooden staircase up from the 3rd floor! The entire set-up was a real treat! The location is most central with everything in the closest vicinity! The Panorama Card with free public transport is a valuable extra. I would have appreciated a small electric kettle to make a drink after a busy day in the privacy of my own environment! This is just a suggestion. Over all I highly recommend this hotel as the Staff is super friendly as well. Breakfast offers a good variety. Give this Hotel a try!

We are both less than 50 years old and this was the worse bed we’ve experienced... read more Don’t stay here if you are above 40 years old or if you have any, joint problem. We are both less than 50 years old and this was the worse bed we’ve experienced in Switzerland in the past 6 years. Pillows are extremely soft. I lied 40 minutes on this very thin foam mattress and I couldn’t sleep (I usually sleep anywhere including on the ground in parks or any public transport). My bones could feel all the pieces of the box springs. I got up with so much pain that I asked my partner to check himself if the bed was comfortable. He confirmed that it was very uncomfortable (pillow and mattress). We went to the reception and after checking with some manager they informed us that they use the same mattress and pillow in every room. We decided to leave immediately and find another accommodation. It was 19h00. No commercial gesture. No apologies. If I book a 4 stars hotel, I expect to have a better bed than the cheapest youth hostel.
