Was User at Sequoia River Cabin a mag?
This place is nowhere near as bad as the reviews suggest. The staff on-site were fantastic and very polite. The bonfire was a wonderful and cozy addition. The rooms were clean, and the heater worked well. The riverside area is stunning, and the unique table in the dim light adds a nice touch. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Sequoia River Cabin:
To make matters worse, there was no cell phone signal and no landline, leaving us completely cut off. I found myself having to go shopping to get essential items for the room, which took away valuable time from my vacation. The blankets provided were unpleasant, so I had to venture out to find replacements. Communication was another problem; I couldn't reach anyone for assistance during the night, and when I tried... The team has done an excellent job renovating the property, incorporating many thoughtful little details.

I didn't stay here myself, but I visited my brother who did. The location was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful! The only downside was a few mosquitoes, but they provided anti-bug incense sticks to help with that.

Once inside, it quickly became obvious that cleanliness was not a priority for them. The floor changed from clean to filthy in seconds, and the bed sheets were far from clean—covered in hair and stains. I seriously doubt the duvet had ever seen a washing machine. My girlfriend and I ended up sleeping in our sleeping bags on the bed for the first time ever! The air conditioning unit hadn’t been cleaned in ages; when I took off the filter, a thick layer of dust cascaded down, reminiscent of what you’d find in a dryer. The ceiling fan was just as neglected. In fact, there was so much dust around that we felt dirty just being there—it could have easily fueled a fire if one ignited at night. The only smoke detector was useless, lacking a battery. Searching for the Wi-Fi password? Don’t bother—it only works in one cabin on the entire property. Now, let’s discuss the bathroom. As soon as I walked in, my immediate thought was, “Oh, someone forgot to flush.” But no one had; the water was simply disgusting—yellow and smelling like rotten eggs. The sink water was the same, so I definitely wouldn’t recommend drinking it! Out of curiosity, I tried the shower, and aside from almost gagging, I realized using it would probably leave me dirtier than I already was. Ah, Riverfront Cabin, where we checked so many regrettable items off our bucket list in just a few hours! If anyone in Hollywood is looking for a unique location to film "The Conjuring 3," they need look no further! There was no way I was staying for two nights as planned. We booked a room at a chain hotel in Fresno for what would have been our second night, and the moment we woke up, we checked out a day early. The staff pretended to be concerned—those empty apologies you get when you’re on hold for an hour, and a robotic voice keeps saying, “Your call is important to us.” They showed no genuine remorse, which suggests they’re well-acquainted with accusations of misrepresentation. During my trip in California, my credit card was compromised, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it happened here. I hope this review helps others avoid this tourist trap. California is a beautiful place to visit, and I will cherish my memories from the trip forever—but this establishment deserves to be shut down. California deserves better!

We spent six days here for our honeymoon, and I must say, the service was outstanding. They truly go above and beyond. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and had access to all the amenities we could wish for. The fishing was fantastic, and we enjoyed watching the local wildlife, including deer, quail, and other animals. The spa was lovely, and there was cable TV along with a Keurig-style coffee maker for our convenience. It was the best honeymoon we could have imagined! We will definitely return in the winter!
