Gateway Lodge - THREE RIVERS

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant despite having made a reservation in advance. We ended up sitting in one of the worst spots in the place. After waiting for 30 minutes without seeing a waitress and without even being offered water or broth, we requested to be moved. We were eventually shifted to a back room that had a strong smell of cats. Although we did get some service there, it still didn’t meet my expectations. This establishment is not the special place I remembered from my last visit. It’s hard to justify the high prices given the poor experience. I won’t be returning anytime soon. My overall rating is as follows: mediocre food, unfriendly management/servers, very slow service, and the only redeeming quality was a chance to sit in a nice spot on the back terrace with a fire pit, if you're lucky. I'm sorry, Gateway, but this visit was a major disappointment.

Considering the other options in the area is still one of the best one but do not expect much. it is just fair. Personnel is very kind.

I loved hearing the sound of the river and the food was better than I expected

Very cool place to have dinner with fairly good food a little steep on the pricing but it is probably due to location of the restaurant

I thought it was good to eat, excellent in view of the river. always a fun evening or even a good place to lunch. they said they didn't let them know about my reservation, so we had to wait. but they still have us.
