What Aston Dorsett doesn't like about The Cricketers:
Great staff and atmosphere, but the food seriously needs work. Wasn't very flavoursome, and what sort of chef cuts a burger in half to check it was cooked when I was informed they're all cooked to the same temperature. I visited the cricketers for the first time yesterday (on Sunday 17 May 2018) and found the experience beautiful. eating was beautiful with a large menu to choose. the service was nice with employees who like to chat and advise on the menu. the overall feeling in the restaurant was relaxed and I would recommend the venue to anyone who wishes a relaxed and pleasant eating in a wonderful environment richard short.
They love this pub for eating, personal, ambiente, real brände, cozy and dog-friendly, which I love. just cry a little too expensive for what it is! 3 big wee only under £25 if they sort it a 10/10
Yesterday evening had a nice start to the meal. the staff was friendly and courteous and the food was freshly cooked and delicious. chips were perfect! beautiful weinlist and overall not too expensive. we're coming back, thank you!
Friendly, welcoming. the employees make them so welcome and offer good advice about the decision what to order on their menu as there are so many possibilities. food was delicious.... well cooked and presented. great ambiente here too. if they are looking for a country pub with quirkyness, style, excellent delicious good with great service....then they don't look further. many thanks for a great night.xx
We rate the food and atmosphere here. Last night the open fire was alight and added to the comfort and homeliness of this pub. The service is generally very good especially behind the bar. Like most places it's the staff that make or break any place so we know it's the management that deserves the credit.
