read moreNestled in a picturesque high street, this Wetherspoons location offers a mixed experience that has patrons divided. While many praise the consistently friendly and efficient staff, as well as the exceptional food and drink options—including a fantastic selection of real ales and impressive cocktails—others have reported service delays and overwhelming crowds at the bar. The atmosphere is generally welcoming, with clean facilities and outdoor seating adding to its charm. Regulars appreciate the reasonable prices and prompt service, making it a solid choice for casual dining, particularly before theater outings. Overall, it remains a popular local haunt.
