I was there with a group of twelve veterans, and each one of us enjoyed a delicious breakfast. If you visit, my personal favorite is the Apple Fritter French Toast—it's made with their homemade apple-fritter bread, and it's absolutely amazing! I highly recommend making a stop at the Sunset Grill!

We waited 50 minutes for our expensive burgers even though the dining room was less than half full. On top of that, they were out of Captain Morgan, our waitress was inattentive, and we could clearly hear some unprofessional conversations coming from the kitchen. None of this justified a 20% tip or the $90 bill before tipping. Also, a heads up—the fish sandwich comes with coleslaw on top! We had high hopes with the new ownership, but we won’t be coming back.

The skillet was covered in an unpleasant oily residue, and the hashbrowns were undercooked. The pancake topped with their specialty apples was thin, flat, and lacked flavor, with the apples themselves being burnt. The biscuits and gravy were the best part, but even they were not very satisfying. We were really looking forward to this meal, but it fell well short of our expectations.
