The Karma Kameleon Gastropub - Thorold

We have booked an evening meal at karma kameleon gastropub in thorold, ontario on our last holiday trip to niagara if. based on his description, we had expected a gastronomic experience in quiet, rural cafe type setting. what we found was a loud cityable on a... thorold main street. I had a beautiful shrimp scallops dress on a bed of risotto while my wife had quite bland ravioli. we had started with an artichoke dip and nan, but the bad was not good and nan was more like a crisp pita. service was ok, except we waited twenty minutes for our bill before I had to hunt our server to get it. everything in all it was not the experience we had expected.

By far the best food I have to enjoy the pleasure. they enjoyed the lobster grilled cheese and was delicious. many lobsters have filled this sandwich. I highly recommend trying! the sandwich was loaded with delicious quality and that was a good part.

The atmosphere and the service were almost great. this restaurant has been on my list for a year when I visited ontario. the whole shebang caesar was great. I have judged the bark quality from the slider on the caesar so that we have decided to order burger. Unfortunately...as it came, we quickly realized that there was no hand-pressed burger like the slider it was a frozen processed burger. for the price and hype of this restaurant they would benefit from a fresh ground bark patty. I'd try something else again.

I myself and two friends went on Friday. as usual, we were looking forward to a very high ending before the pandemic. we were disappointed! only a limited almost food menu. it was too crowded and that was terrible. my friend. had a mold of h fry in her evening meal. they tried to say that the chefs were absent. I'll never go back. I also live in thorold. disappointing. never again

Delightful small gastro-pub didn't disappoint. Unique fresh food with excellent service. On the recommendations of friends, met for mid-week lunch and was thrilled with the menu items and service. Most of us had the Lobster Grilled Cheese, another had a Gourmet Burger along with a...variety of fresh salads beautifully presented. Thanks to Blaine, our server, he ensured we were well taken care of. Looking forward to returning and trying their other unique menu items. Well done folks.
