La Marea restaurant in Thorold, Ontario offers a dining experience that is almost great, with standout dishes like the lobster grilled cheese but also disappointments such as processed burgers and bland ravioli. The atmosphere is loud and bustling, not the quiet rural cafe setting expected. Despite some service hiccups and limited food menu, the unique fresh food and excellent service at Karma Kameleon Gastropub impresses diners, with dishes like the Lobster Grilled Cheese and Gourmet Burger standing out. The menu at Karma Kameleon is full of tasty and fresh dishes like the lobster grilled cheese and soft shell crab BLT, sure to delight any visitor. The service is friendly and efficient, making for a great overall experience at this gastropub.

I've been to this place twice and it doesn't disappoint.. Such a great vibe with an amazing staff, friendly and so attentive. You have to try their Whole SheBang Caesar..(2for1 a meal and a drink). Delicious and amazingly priced... If you're a fan of Caesars, I would definitely try this spot...Plus their Food is soooo good

I have been here in the past and it was great, but it has definitely declined. Overall dingy and unclean, flies and fruit flies everywhere. Waiter was pleasant. Many items on the menu weren’t available on the Friday night we went. Wine came in a dirty glass. The margarita was fabulous. Fried cauliflower was tasteless and the avocado spring rolls were dreadful. The veggie burger was good and the fries were very good. The roasted grilled veggie sandwich came loaded with olives the menu didn’t say this) and the waiter said that he usually remembers to tell people. Olives were totally overpowering. Overall disappointing.

A group of 6 of us went for dinner tonight. Our server (sorry but I cannot remember her name) was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond for us, despite being very busy. The food was great (as always). We had brought 4 out of town guests as we really love this place and they all had a great time.We ordered the Avocado Spring Rolls, Nashville Chicken Sandwich, Lobster Grilled Cheese and East Coast Lobster Poutine.I would have no hesitation in bringing other visitors here!

Just had takeout lobster sandwich which usually was the best I have had!! But not only have they increased the price to $25 and taken away the side dish…. I swear it was not just lobster. I’m sure there was imitation lobster in it as filler. I won’t be going back.

Hands down the BEST Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich I have ever eaten, not only in this Niagara Region, but literally anywhere. The fries are so fresh and hand cut, just like the old days before frozen products. We happened upon this place and will make it our go to when just wanting to get out for dinner. The atmosphere is very laid back and the staff are truly friendly and engaging in the best of ways. Very impressed with this restaurant.P.S. We ordered the Whole Shebang Caesar to share and it is HUGE and definitely no need for any appetizer in this restaurant you will be taking food home as it is. Never have we seen an entire half cornish hen on a skewer, one of I think 5/6 skewers of food in the drink. Well worth the $27 for the drink as it is like a meal for 2 plus your drinks.
