Carvel - Thornwood

I’ve been waiting a week for the owner to reach out to me. My mother and I had a terrible experience with a very rude and erratic employee. It seems that Lou (the owner) doesn't prioritize customer satisfaction. We’ll be getting our ice cream in Pleasantville today instead.

Good Carvel location in the Rose Hill Shopping Center. Service was fast and friendly, ice cream was delicious as always!

Always a great product. We order a cake about every other month from here and the service is always amazing. When the photo machine went down yesterday they gave me a call immediately with 2 other options. They kept trying and called me when it finally worked. Everyone is friendly and truly wants to make the customer happy. We also love that there are tables inside and outside to sit and eat ice cream with our two young children. Fun family outing.

This Carvel is the cleanest I've visited, with an impressive selection of soft serve, as all three machines were operational. They also have the largest variety of pre-packaged items, probably because they don’t have to share their space with a Subway, as this location only sells Carvel products. Additionally, their hard ice cream is presented differently than at other Carvels; it's displayed in stainless steel pans, similar to gelato, which looks much more appealing and likely tastes fresher. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip!

I visit this place fairly regularly and am familiar with the staff. They are incredibly friendly, and they prepare the ice cream wonderfully.
