Nana's And Papa's - Thornville

This is your typical small town diner. No surprises here. The food was pretty good. I had the chicken fried steak special, and my wife tried the chipped beef on toast and home fries. We both enjoyed our meals. The service was great, and the coffee kept on coming.

Our family always stops here for breakfast after our annual camping trip. The food is absolutely incredible, and the staff are kind and attentive. The whole place has just really great vibes. Kid-friendliness: Very family-friendly diner.

We walked in with a party of 6, sat and waited patiently for 20 minutes to finally get our order taken, then waited another hour to be told after asking for an update that it was still going to be a while until we got our food. A party of 4 walked in when we did, sat down, ate and paid for their meal before we even got our drinks. Then when we told the waitress we were leaving because we still had a really long drive ahead of us(a 13 hour drive that we were now an hour behind on), she was quite rude about it and shouted at us that we still needed to pay for our drinks. We were not rude, we were patient, and we were respectful. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

The corned beef hash was awful, the waitress was great and replaced it with hasbrowns. Got the butt end of the loaf for toast, no fork in my silverware bag, the coffee was really weak. Just little stuff like that. Breakfast was ok. $12 for 3 eggs and toast with coffee was ridiculous
