Copper Penny Lakeside Tavern

The service was absolutely horrible I waited almost 45 minutes for wings and french fries they had three servers and they were on the outside working the docks instead of one person inside working the bar and the tables. They do not label their food in the window and all the people would go up and touch the plates with their hands to see if it was their food kind of gross to be honest

We decided to give this place another chance after being told things are much better than last year. Service was bad, she was more interested in talking on her phone and drinking behind the bar than waiting on tables. They were out of serval things on the menu which the menu is very limited anyway. The food was terrible, chicken was still raw, didn’t even take a bite, thank goodness. Fried pickles were not done but very greasy. I asked for a water that I never received. Overall a horrible experience and way over priced for the service and quality of food.

Sat for over an hour. Had to ask twice for my mixed drink and twice for a water refill. Then they gave our pizza to another customer and told us they were out. Don't bother apologizing. We won't be back! P.S. That's a tomato???

Worst bar on the lake! It was so bad I don’t even know where to start. To begin our waitress who is also the bartender forgot our drinks. Once we reminded her, she came out with our drinks and told us they were on the house. My salad came out, and our pizza never arrived. We asked about our pizza. It was discovered that it had been given to another table. This was no surprise because there was a young lady walking around, trying to give food away all evening because she wasn’t sure which table to deliver the food. We were told there was one pizza left and within 15 minutes we were told there were no more pizzas and we could have anything on the menu on the house. We ordered and within a few minutes the table in front of us got our pizza. I went in to complain and got two more drinks on the house. While waiting on my free drinks my order came out, but the hamburger had not even been put on the grill. The man who got the pizza was standing beside me and felt so bad that he paid for our bill. He came out and told us he paid our bill and we told him our food and drinks are on the house because we’ve been here for 2 1/2 hours. He later came out and told us that they refunded him and we saved him $48. I’m not one to write bad reviews but taking advantage of a customer really makes me angry. They were going to let this guy pay for our food and drinks knowing dam well it was on the house! Taking advantage of a good person is unacceptable. I will not return.

Great wings! Get the Penny sauce...you won't be disappointed. The pizza has an amazing amount of cheese!
