I really enjoyed the cheesesteak; the bread they use is excellent. The fries were slightly undercooked, but that's an easy fix. The service and cleanliness were also great!

The food was incredible, as always—fresh, hot, and delicious! But even more impressive than the food was the friendly young lady at the front counter. Brittany, in a time when so many people are short-tempered and dealing with staff shortages, you truly stood out! You were so kind and thoughtful, wishing everyone a good evening and a Merry Christmas. Great job, South Philly CheeseSteaks!

However, like any popular spot, there are always detractors. One reviewer was upset that the restaurant wouldn’t alter its delivery policy for him. The solution is simple: just order enough to meet the $15 minimum or pick it up yourself — not too difficult. Another reviewer complained about the staff member at the front being rude during a busy time. Rude? Or simply overwhelmed? It's unreasonable to expect a 15-year-old to handle a hectic situation flawlessly. I find it hard to believe the negative reviews. Perhaps those individuals were just having a rough day and needed to vent. Setting those criticisms aside, if you're in search of an incredible sandwich, this is the place to go!

I really liked the food at this restaurant, and I had no concerns about the quality. While it may not be life-changing, it’s a refreshing change from fast food. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something different.

As a first-time customer, I ordered "the works," and I can confidently say it's the best cheesesteak I've had up north. I also really appreciated that they packed the loaded fries separately, so they didn't get soggy by the time I got home. I will definitely be returning!
