Las Palmas - Thornton

The food at this restaurant is pretty good overall, although sometimes the drinks can go unfilled. However, I would not recommend the pork green chilies. The pork was not cooked well and was unpleasant. My mom ordered it last time and received half a pork chop thrown on top, which was slimy.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant, especially since I have been a loyal customer for years. The waitress ignored us for 20 minutes, even though we had finished our drinks and chips and salsa. She prioritized serving three tables that arrived after us and then gave us attitude when we expressed our frustration. The restaurant wasn't even busy at the time. It's a shame because this place used to be good, but I have decided not to return. I would give negative stars if I could, but I had to give at least one star in order to post this review.

I can get menudo during the week at this restaurant, and it's delicious! They also serve large pieces of bread with it. Although I have only tried this dish so far, I have been impressed with its taste and quality.

Everything is good here, but the menudo is the best around. Las Palmas is still the raining champion.

Service was the only problem we had. Waitress took our order, our drinks came, our food came and we never saw our Waitress until we were done eating. Never checked on us to see if the food was OK. Never checked on our drinks situation. Never checked if we needed anything.
