I've been to The Fish Hoose three times since it opened, and it’s by far the best fish and chips around. As others have mentioned, the fish literally melts in your mouth. It’s incredibly fresh, and the service is excellent. I wish the owner and the staff all the best and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. View all feedback.

The meals from this restaurant used to be a delight, but my last two experiences were disappointing. The food was soggy, lacked flavor, and the quality was very poor. The service was acceptable, but the restaurant doesn't seem to have many customers anymore, making it easy to pre-order and pay through the app, then just walk in, pick it up, and leave. Eating is absolutely stunning, a piece of fish is delivered, but it is more than much and is significantly better quality than taking away others. chips crack, personal are very friendly and helpful. you can get your dinner and put yourself together and there's a lot of space. will be back, that is safe

First class service food is excellent always fresh and hot the staff are friendly and always aim to please. The decor is brilliant too always nice and clean. The portions are very good value for money as well would definitely recommend it. And there is also a disabled access as well
Fish chips were excellent the place looks great. Hot, fresh, tasty food, lovely light coloured crispy batter, chips were great, crisp outside and fluffy inside, onion rings were spot on too. If you're in Thornton feel like a fish supper call in to the fish hoose
