What User doesn't like about Phoenix House Chinese Restaurant:
Worst Chinese food we have ever had. We are a retired couple who have lived and worked in Asia, so we have experience. The 'spring rolls' were spongy and soggy (not made with rice paper and deep fried). They also had hardly any filling. The other dishes we ordered were inedible. Very disappointing. We will keep looking for a genuine Chinese Restaurant! View all feedback.
This place makes the most amazing honigh chicken. it is the only article I get from there with their special roasted rice. The huh is more like cubes or pieces, instead of the thin stripes make most places. absolutely sensational!
Price reasonable. Eating is great. Top Star service. will go back.
We ordered some really pleasant meals. everything we had was fresh. from the amazing and delicious spring rolls to the black stall steak.
Have not been living in thornton for 5 years and still has not found any Chinese place as good as this!
Great food and service. They can be a bit busy at times but they try to give a reasonable estimate of how long the wait will be. Usually I only wait for up to 15 minutes, sometimes up to 25 minutes, very rarely more than half an hour. But the food is worth the wait. Customer service staff are all English-speaking so there is no problem being understood.
