The restaurant has a somewhat dark atmosphere. My initial impression was not very appealing, but the food tasted really good. I made reservations in advance since we had a large group, which allowed us to comfortably use a private room. If you are looking for a separate room, I recommend booking in advance. I especially recommend trying the Champon and Yuringi dishes here. The Champon is packed with vegetables and seafood, while the Yuringi is delicious chicken fried closely. The sweet sauce was excellent. However, I was disappointed with the long wait time for our food and the subpar service.

JjaJjangMyun Black Bean Noodle, JjamPong Hot Chilli Seafood Soup with Noodles, TangSuYeok Sweet and Sour Pork, GoonManDu fried dumpling, and a host of other dishes await your hunger pangs. The place is usually packed throughout the afternoon and early evening. Today was no different. We got our seat quickely but service was slow. Food was A OK. Cheers.
We ordered Kam Pung Ki ($16.99 Small), which was Sweet Spicy Chicken. It was delicious with a sticky sauce and tender chicken. I wished it was a bit spicier though. We also tried Ja Jang Myum ($6.99), which was a noodle dish with veggies, beef, and black bean sauce. The noodles were chewy, but the sauce was a bit runny and didn't cling well to the noodles. Lastly, we had Sam Sun Cham Pong ($10.99), which was a Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup with extra seafood. The soup was flavorful and not too salty, but we felt there wasn't enough seafood in it. Overall, we loved the food at Iryewon Asian Fusion Restaurant. We would definitely come back, especially to try the Sweet Sour Pork, which looked tempting and was popular among other diners. There is room for improvement in terms of noodle texture and seafood quantity, but we enjoyed our experience and would recommend this place.
The jjangmyun at this restaurant is not the best I've had, but the prices are reasonable. The sweet and sour pork was a bit disappointing as it was not crispy and lacked flavor, even with the sauce. The pickled radish was cut in various shapes and sizes, making it seem like leftovers. The service is basic - they will seat you, take your order, and deliver your food, but don't expect much more than that.
I brought my friend here to experience Jajangmyun for the first time. I was very disappointed by their noodles. The noodles were too thin. There was not enough meat in the sauce. I should have taken my buddy down the street to Sunny Dragon for Jajangmyun.
