What Mckenna Schumm doesn't like about Bombay Touch:
3 stars just for customer service of front desk.I ordered uttapam for office lunch on Tuesday and the product came in a bad shape.. It was Raw from Center and sides. The batter was way too thick and the toppings were just in the centre. I went to the restaurant thinking I’ll show them and request for my money back, and to my surprise the 2 guys not only refunded my money but they apologized and said they understand my situation. Offered to make me a new one but I have my own food today. So they gave me my money back. The rest of the food (North Indian cuisine) was quite good. The garlic naan was amazing.
The restaurant used to be really good, it was our favourite place for Indian food pre-Covid. Last visit, we were really disappointed, there was a mix up with orders, the food was very salty (there were pockets of salt in 3 out of 4 dishes we ordered) and the service was very unfriendly. I understand that it is difficult to hire waiters these days but the Indian girl who was serving us was clearly showing her attitude: she was walking around in sweat pants, didn't smile once, didn't even say thank you when we left generous tip we wanted to support the restaurant at these difficult times of health paranoia. Anyway, the place left quite a bitter taste, so I am not sure we are coming back. I think many people had the same experience lately, as the restaurant had only 3 tables occupied and it was on Fri night when every other place was busy.

We visited Bombay Touch for the first time and will definitely go back. The restaurant has a clean, welcoming and cozy decor. The food was excellent and servings were not skimpy at all. Our two main dishes were Saag Lamb and Butter Chicken. Delicious! Our server was happy to answer any questions. Happy to find this restaurant so close to home!! Really looking forward to dining on their outdoor patio in the summer months.
The food was very greasy and the spicing was off. I didn’t taste any ginger in the food. The Aloo Gobi was like mush, I think it was reheated leftovers. The worst was the appetizers, pakora and onion bhaji (sp were almost pure chickpeas, very heavy and seemingly indigestible as golf balls. I would have rated it worst but at least the meat in the dishes was acceptable. I won’t be back.
