Lion Unicorn - Thornhill

I visited the Lion Unicorn for lunch last week for the first time. I had never been before and the website was not clear, so I tried emailing and messaging in advance but did not receive a reply. However, when I called, they were very helpful and connected me to someone in the kitchen who explained that there are many gluten free options available and they take precautions to prevent cross contamination. All I needed to do was mention that I was gluten free upon arrival to receive a gluten free menu with numerous choices. I opted for the burger and chips, which were fantastic. The burger came with a delicious gluten free bun and the waitress assured me that the chips were cooked separately to avoid any gluten contamination.

I have dined at this restaurant numerous times and have never experienced any allergic reactions. The staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend trying the Wagyu burger with a gluten-free bun and the Knickerbocker Glory dessert!

The service at this restaurant is excellent and they offer a menu specifically for those who are gluten free.
