In a time when everywhere you go is short staffed and customer service is non- existent, my visit to Wayback in Thorndale today renewed my hope that people still know how to give exemplary service. Everyone on the staff was super friendly- like to the point where they could make your day- specifically the guy who took my order (forgot his name, but said he?s from New York. Maybe the manager? What User doesn't like about Wayback Burgers:
We've been coming here regularly for about 7 years. My son wanted milkshakes for his birthday, so we decided to make it a Shake and Burger Night. 1. Prices rose so much. Order was over $80! My three kids said the milkshakes were terribly delicious. Not even sure how you screw this up. They didn't even finish them. The burgers were bland. I ordered chicken fingers. I thought they couldn't be bad. They were burned and... View all feedback.
I had never been in a Wayback Burger, but my friends had always said how good they were. I didn't know exactly what to order, but the staff knew what to recommend! Everyone worked so helpful and was so pleasant! I laughed and hungry. The burger I got was definitely how the chef told me to look better ' then the picture on the menu. I definitely go back! Thank you for the wonderful service and laughter!

Will definitely be back.
We've been regular customers here for about seven years. My son wanted milkshakes for his birthday, so we decided to make it a Shake and Burger Night. Unfortunately, we noticed that the prices have skyrocketed; our order came to over $80! My three kids said the milkshakes were "terribly delicious," but I’m not sure how that could be considering they didn’t finish them. The burgers were bland, and I thought ordering chicken fingers would be safe, but they were actually burnt and dry. The onion rings were also overcooked. To make matters worse, we didn’t receive any of the dips we ordered and paid for. I rarely give 1-star reviews, but nothing we ordered was good or even edible. I won’t be returning.
I tried this restaurant for the first time, but it was a frustrating experience. While we were eating, there was a conflict with the manager who stood by without intervening, which made us feel uncomfortable. The food was disappointing overall; the only decent items were the milkshakes and some appetizers. The burgers were not worth the price either. I’m giving it two stars because the waitstaff who took our orders were friendly.
Save your money! My husband and I ordered from this restaurant on Friday, June 17, 2022. The food had been great in the past, but this time was different. When my husband picked it up, he noticed that the place looked quite dirty. We spent $40 on one burger, one chicken sandwich, and two milkshakes. Unfortunately, everything was disappointing. My chicken sandwich was so dry it felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day, and my husband suggested we should have just gone to Wendy's instead, as their burgers are better.
