Little Bear - Thompson Falls

Little Bear is one of our favorite ice cream runs. We live in Hayden, Idaho. Friends at a motorcycle rally told us about Little Bears. They weren't lying when they said it was the best place for ice and food. We'll take all those we know when they're with us. Deb is one of the best persons as owner and person. You can experience the true love of preparing food or deserts for each person. She makes you feel at home. Your meals are incredible. You definitely get more than you could ever dream. Thompson Falls is such a beautiful place to visit. It represents what a holiday or just a day should be gone. Thank you. Deb for everything you do. May God Bless, Kelly Caroline

A taste of heaven. I recently ate at the little bear, it was a treat beyond comparison. Not only the food is an artwork and you get so much for your money, but the owner Deb adds the charm and the magic that words cannot describe. I was in business there and had to work beyond her closing time. Deb was happy to stay open so we could return this evening. She was right about her word, waiting for us outside the door. While we enjoyed the best food I've ever had again, I experienced something I'll never forget. Deb has become the grandmother of Thompson Falls. While we sat and enjoyed their company, the man of the cities fell by to say hello to Deb. It was the warmest environment, just like home.

Fantastic. I never had to wait an hour for my food. The ice is delicious and the banana cracking is spectacular! You can eat any taste and toppings you want plus it is a whole half gallon of ice so eat it with a friend or 2. Something like that!

This is the best ice cream I ever had!!!! I first came back in 2010 when I came to Thompson Falls to visit my laws. I just came back from a one-year tour in Korea and that was my first stop. I literally waited years to get more of Deb's Huckleberry and cream cheese ice cream. Also the BEST Paninis on the planet. I'll be sad when this AMAZING place closes. 24 years and still strong. There's no other icefield like Little Bear in the United States I've ever been.

Great homemade food. Owner is awesome and friendly and clearly cares about the food she makes. If you have the time to relax and enjoy a meal this is a great place well worth the wait.
