The food was so great I decided to take my mom there for lunch last summer when she came for a visit from Ontario. We both thought the food was amazing. Since last summer, however, the food has gone downhill drastically. The food is now mediocre, and the prices don’t reflect the quality by any means. Everything is frozen, including the chicken wings. I was extremely disappointed in the food. As soon as we walked into the restaurant ALL of the waitress staff stood at the bar and stared at us. They didn’t greet us at all. We had a really nice server Friday evening, but did not receive the same service Saturday evening. The waitress seemed rude and very annoyed with us when we first sat down because we hadn’t gotten a chance to read the drink menu even though we had literally just arrived. I also didn’t really enjoy the atmosphere. For a bar, the music was turned down very low for a Saturday evening. It would help if they offered live music and got rid of the majority of the staff they have right now, OR provided them with training because they appear to be seriously lacking in not only overall manners and friendliness, but also taking orders. Me and my group of friends decided to leave after fifteen minutes and went across the street to Boston Pizza. Don’t waste your time eating here. I was very disappointed in the service and food.

Anyone who has been in Thompson longer than 5 minutes knows how difficult it is to get good cooks, servers and maintain consistency. I've lived in Thompson for 42 years and so far these guys are the BEST at what they do! Thanks!
