Love the atmosphere in this buzzing local restaurant and have been several times despite as an almost vegan having to negotiate a suitable dish normally converting the goats cheese salad entrée into a main dish) . On our last visit my husband had the 25 Euro menu which he loved he said the duck was amazing. My salad came at same time as his entrée so I spent quite a long time watching him eat his main and dessert and left a bit hungry as my salad was a bit small albeit only charged 12 Euros for it. I would have liked a 3 course meal too but this did not seem possible. I was was not offered a desert which surprised my but as I'd already said I was a non egg eater this might have been the reason.

Another very good French restaurant in the Thiviers area. There are a few and this restaurant loses nothing in comparison. There is a sign out front which advises that it is under new management. There are some tables out front under parasols and a large carpark is the only outlook. Inside (a sign on the door suggests that it is a salle climatisee only, during the summer, it isn't lots of heaters for the winter though) the restaurant is large and pleasant and not hot on a day which, outside, was 34'. A typicallly good French lunch menu of an entree from a chilled salad bar, plat du jour (fish and chips although the fish was decidedly small) cheese, dessert, coffee and a quart du van for E15.00. Our youthful waiter, Leo, is a star. Outstanding service.
