This has been my usual eating point enroute Kollam Trivandrum. Ideally located besides the NH, towards Trivandrum direction. Specialised in Malabar dishes. Theme of restaurant is like a hangar, with an aeroplane parked inside. Seating and tables are arranged inside the plane also. Excellent service with good hospitality. Quality and quantity of food is excellent. Attinkal soup, neypathal, ramanthali beef curry are must try items. Speciality items are displayed near the reception area daily.

Tried the waiter suggestions for the day and boy! It was fantastic. The real showstopper was the mutton for me, always been a huge fan of fried chicken but mutton is now my favourite. The meat was perfectly seasoned with a blend of spices to induce the right amount of heat and intensity. The rest of the show were average, as the bread(porotta) could've used a bit more of oil while heating and the fried rice was alright. The ambience the plane provided was defective different but it could use a proper clean-down session. Anyways can't wait to visit again !

First of all its a nice place for joy... Joy of different tastes.. Fusion of tastes with delicious dishes.. There is something special that reminds the visitor to come there once again.. And wonderful ambience there..and you can get great quality food with a huge quantity.. If you are a lover of food you should visit Thakkaaram hotel..

Very good restaurant nearby highway with ample parking space. A flight is designed inside the restaurant, and dining is also possible. Malabar style cuisine is main, and other styles are also available. Neat and clean. Well maintained. Enough hand wash and washrooms. Overall, good .
