Nikunjam Restaurant

This is an old place, surviving the onslaught of new age restaurants, shawais and shawarmas. They have held their own with their unique chicken chilly, beef chilly etc. I also like their chicken curry, which is made only in the afternoon. The chicken fry made in the evening is also authentic Trivandrum. The taste is very good. They just have to renovate this place a bit to get some customers back, else it is very good. Not sure if they are available on Uber Eats

This small food outlet is known for its variety dish chilly chicken and beef chilly. Located opposite Tagore Theatre, Vazhuthacaud, Trivandrum this outlet now offers parcel only. Their chicken chilly and beef chilly have its owns taste .

I visited this hole-in-a-wall restaurant as it came highly recommended by the locals. They were out of beef curry when i went for lunch so I had the beef fry with parottas instead. The beef was tender and succulent with a perfect balance of masalas. AND the meal cost less than Rs. 100!!! I returned twice to this restaurant and tried out other dishes and every time it turned out to be a hearty meal worth returning for. The restaurant space is cramped and menu options are limited. They also tend to run out of stuff so go well in advance to avoid the disappointment.

It is a hotel specialised in chilli chicken with a special taste. Only other items available are beef and chicken fry with barotta idiyappam.

The food we had was truly delicious and suited our budget. The service there was also excellent. We would recommend each and everyone in and around to give a try and taste the dishes there.
