Coconut Grove - Thiruvananthapuram

The place is a walkable distance from the Kovalam parking. It gives a groove ambiance. Sea-view seating and cool breeze. The food is expensive and doesn’t taste worth the money paid. The washrooms are hopeless. Compare to prices the amenities are bad.

Good place to sit at. Nice view. Food was just okay as the Pasta we ordered did not taste good at all, it had smell of old boiled on and the shredded cheese was smelling. Tomato soup was good.

Sad, overpriced, tasteless food i must say. I went for 1800 sea food platter which had prawns, fish curry, calamari thoran where rice also was served. (Fyi this rice wont suffice for two ppl). We couldnt eat calamari thoran because it was bitter in taste. Fish curry was not sour enough or less salty. Prawns was over spicy. We also observed okra fry was available for 250 inr, wt? The view was great, could be a prime spot during day time, we visited at night.

We really liked the place! Was skeptical due to the low score, but we ended up eating here a few times during our stay. I chose my fish from the selection outside, they gave us great cocktails, and even the appetizers were nice.

The best thing about this place is its location as you get a great view of The Light house beach. We went there for breakfast, the hotel and tables were clean, we were practically the only people there, there was only one other table occupied. The food is below average, very few options for vegetarians. Don't expect anything to taste the way it does outside Kerala or anywhere else in Kerala for that matter. We ordered Masala dosa, Onion tomato uttapam, Ginger tea, Manchow soup, Fish fingers and finger chips, Macaroni.
