The biggest drawback that I... read more Attended a wedding reception on 3rd Jan 24. The place and ambience was good. Heard that the view of the sea and beach is excellent. The biggest drawback that I found was lack of direction to this location when coming on the highway. The property should put up sign boards to assist people visiting this excellent location. Also since they promote open garden sea view marriage /reception location, since such an event will definitely include food the property should install a proper hand wash area instead of temporary portable washbasin which reflects bad on the facility of the property.

The service was, at all ti... read more At the time of my stay, the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations. The rooms were brand-new, but some basic things were missing. The service was, at all times, excellent. The breakfast included in my booking was okay, but the buffet was not available most of the days. The clock-round room service was spot on too. Overall, a good experience.

The restaurant is nice and the staff are very humble and soft spoken.

The hotel has been undergoing renovations for the last 18 months. We rejected the initial offer of the old rooms due to the poor state of these rooms. Subsequen... read more The hotel has been undergoing renovations for the last 18 months. We rejected the initial offer of the old rooms due to the poor state of these rooms. Subsequently, we were booked into one of the 20 renovated rooms offering sea/pool view. These rooms were well equipped and fit for premium accommodation. Unfortunately, they only have around 20 of these room currently available. The restaurant is temporarily accommodated inside the conference centre. Lots of construction workers and rubble on site. The services and interaction by staff were OK, but below the experience we had at Golden Peak. You can not swim at the beach in front of the hotel. This property could be a great place to stay in Kovalam once the renovations are completed.

Beautiful landscaping by th... read more Excellent location, serene and peaceful surroundings, courteous staff, spacious neat rooms, good food...all made our stay memorable. Beautiful landscaping by the seaside with a perfect sunset view gave us a surreal experience. The property has got a well maintained swimming pool..would definitely recommend the hotel for family visit. Renovation works are underway at the hotel. We are definitely planning to visit again soon and hoping that we will be able to enjoy more with the new get up.
