We went here twice. During both times, we felt that they took too much time to serve food. If you are looking for a quick dinner, this is probably not the place to be at.The parathas and chapathis were hard and unappetising. The tandoori chicken was also very hard and not tasty. On both occasions, several items in the menu card were "unavailable". Overall, the actual food and service is a far cry from the exterior wh... View all feedback.
Very good homely restaurant. Very good service by staffs. Food was very tasty and hygienic. Having food in the great location is still more than expected.
Ambience is good. Variety is quite large. Food portion is reasonably large. Service is fast. Good music played subtly in the background

The bathrooms are large, and reasonably maintained.
I with my family comprising 7 adults and 2 children visited the food village on 27/12/2014 at 19.55 on our journey from Thodupuzha to Thiruvananthapuram after seeing the reviews on Tripadvisor. Eventhough the had a large display board stating that they are equipped with a Vegetarian restaurant, on enquiry with the person at counter, he informed me that no such restaurant is running at present. I excited even though they do not running the Veg restaurant they are keeping the board simply for cheating the commuters. Since two of with us prefer veg food we enquired with the person about the availability of Chappathi and he is ok with it. Then I entered the restaurant named garam masala and ordered for chappathi, paratha with other dishes. The person at restaurant humbly informed that those items are at present not available. The restaurant has a great ambience with good parking area. If the restaurant owner be keen to maintain it properly it will be a shining star soon
