First let me say that I wish Tony the best in his retirement. He was always entertaining and always greeted us every time we went to Yuri 's. That being said, if you 're a long time fan of Yuri 's, Aki of Japan was tasty, but I felt that Yuri was just a little bit better. Aki does offer a variation in the menu and a few more choices in the Combination meals. The chef was entertaining and very generous with the fried rice (basically gave me two servings). We were greeted at the front door by the hostess and the owner. I spoke with the owner for a few minutes as he knew Tony for many years and we were frequent visitors of Yuri 's. He also treated us to an Italian ice cream desert after dinner that was very tasty. He mentioned that Aki is in the soft opening stage. It will be interesting to see how they improve after they get more established and have their Grand Opening. We will definitely return after that.

Both the sushi and the hibachi was delicious! The broth in the chicken soup is homemade and excellent. The service and kindness of the owners and staff is unsurpassed. The service at this restaurant is outstanding. My wife and I both have experience as servers, and we can't praise the service enough. The chef was especially attentive, taking the time to explain the traditional dish Chirashi and how to balance the flavors with each bite. The sushi was delicious, and it was clear that the chef knew how to bring out the best in the fish. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning. Thank you, chef! Service: Dine-in.
