The hotel-bar-restaurant "the thiery hostel" is a nice surprise: a delight for the eyes and taste buds! The reception is irreproachable, the smiling waitress, a caretaker and a devastation of humour and good alaw. the dishes are prepared on site by an adorable chef, who gives his maximum. And that's it! We were 4 (family and friends) and loved lunch: for my part, an entrance with seasonal salad and hot goat (perfect in all points, fresh and pleasant), a white salmon paved sauce on a bed of sauerkraut (very original and unusual, yet absolutely delicious)!, followed in dessert of a gratin of tasteful blueberries, strong in taste and gourmet - to finish, an excellent coffee. for the others, charcuterie board and thighs of canard confites with potato jumped: a treat seems to it, a perfect cooking and a lot of flavor. The restaurant itself is very friendly, with a large indoor room, used in winter, a bar opened in the morning, a huge covered terrace very convenient. "the hostel of thiery", which makes it also hotel, is apparently open all year round: a haven of peace, beautifully decorated, which is worth the (long) detour from the coast or the surrounding villages. service is impeccable, dishes fry perfection. a big thank you for this magical moment with family and friends! small bonus : thiery is a village that is beautiful and that you must absolutely visit.
