Off The Hook
Description
**Off the Hook: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Off the Hook captures diners with its promise of Southern comfort food, yet experiences vary widely. While some enjoy consistently well-prepared items like fried shrimp and flavorful gumbos, others lament rude service and cold meals. Pricing also raises eyebrows, with several patrons feeling that the quality and portions do not justify the expense. Despite the occasional hits, such as friendly staff and enjoyable dishes like the fish po' boy and red beans, complaints about order accuracy and overall value hinder its reputation. For those willing to gamble, Off the Hook might offer a delightful surprise, but caution is advised.

Stopped at Off the Hook to get lunch. Got the shrimp and chicken tenders platter, wife got just the tenders platter. As always, the chicken was very tender and seasoned correctly. Shrimp was great also. Consistently good, great service, clean comfy restaurant. Highly recommend.
Even though it was fast food, set up, the food was really good, would definitely go
The food is surprisingly good for a fast food place. As someone who was born and raised in South Louisiana, I didn't think I'd enjoy it, but I was mistaken. Four out of five times, the food is excellent, and even when it’s not quite right, it's still acceptable. I’ll definitely keep coming back. My favorites are the fried shrimp, seafood gumbo, hushpuppies, and bread pudding. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try!
I had a beef po' boy and a shrimp platter. They could have used a bit more salt and more meat considering the price. Overall, the food was good, and the red beans were delicious!
