we stumbled on this tiny hole in the wall by falling with urban spoon. when you first move up, it looks a little sketchy, but eating is amazing! Not only were the margaritas (especially the top shelf) exceptional, but eating was amazing. I just came back from mexiko and this food was better than anything I had. the family comes from mexico, and this is the only restaurant in la that grows its own paprika. they have a... I waited for 40 minutes after placing my order, only to be rudely told by the server that my food was not ready and they would not be able to serve me. It was clear that she was the only one working and customers were waiting a long time to be served. This will be the last time I visit this restaurant as they clearly do not know how to operate a restaurant and serve their customers. View all feedback.
We attempted to place a takeout order, but after waiting for 40 minutes, the woman at the front rudely informed us that it wasn't ready and walked away. It seemed like she was the only person working, causing others to wait a long time for their food. Many customers left due to issues with their orders. This will be our final visit as it is clear they lack the ability to properly run a restaurant, ultimately resulting in us never receiving our food.
I had a fantastic gathering with friends after the gym at this restaurant! The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure our drinks kept flowing. It was my first visit but definitely not my last! I was very pleased with the experience and service provided.
I ordered the pineapple burger, but there was hardly any pineapple in it.
This has been a favorite lunch destination for me and many of my co-workers and I have personally enjoyed the food at this restaurant for many years. The taste, quality, and cleanliness appear to be second to none. The problem is consistently poor service. To the point that my wife refuses to use it as a lunch destination during the week because you never know if your going to wait 10min for your food or 30 min. I have more patience than her up until today, but after waiting 35 min for a burrito that never showed, I'm done! Btw fewer than 5 folks seated before I arrived. Sad to see a great local food destination lose business because of there inconsistent service.
Very good local Mexican. More traditional than the chains. I got the seafood chimichanga . Lobster, shrimp, crawfish grill onions mushroom and more. 2 of us ate for 25 bucks with just water. Very casual and family oriented but only about 15 tables.
