I highly recommend to stop for happy hour, try the alligator andouille cheesecake or any steak. they will not be disappointed. Oh and the mosque mule!

Chimichurri Marinated Ha... read more I began my meal with an Old Fashioned, which paired beautifully with the Shrimp Boulettes appetizer. For my main course, I had an 8 oz. Chimichurri Marinated Hanger Steak, accompanied by a Brown Butter Cauliflower Orzo Salad. To finish off, I tried the Key Lime Cheesecake, which came in three small squares rather than a full slice of pie—slightly less than I expected. If you appreciate food presentation, Cinclare rivals any fine dining establishment in South Louisiana. The atmosphere is lovely as well. If you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, retirement, or any special occasion, you'll find Cinclare delightful. We look forward to returning.

If you happen to walk in for a spontaneous drink at the bar while exploring downtown Thibodaux, you’ll be made to feel like an unwelcome guest, quickly ushered through the process. When we asked if there was a spot at the bar, they didn't have to say yes. Yet, they seated us despite their apparent reluctance and proceeded to provide the fastest service we've ever experienced. Normally, quick service is great, but this was on a different level—it felt uncomfortable. The first time we thought maybe we were reading too much into it, but the second time confirmed it wasn’t just a fluke. We understand that the atmosphere matters. They could just be upfront about it instead of being passive-aggressive. On a positive note, the Old Fashioned is definitely worth the awkwardness. For a more enjoyable experience, though, be sure to make a reservation.
