10 days on dauphin island and finally the 10th night we left the island because a local said this was the place to go. We had a party of 12 and the accommodated us to the back room! Very friendly people it felt like HOME from Minnesota ??.

This is, without a doubt, the worst seafood experience I have ever had. I visited two weeks ago, and the old frozen shrimp I was served were mushy and had a terrible smell. The crab was overcooked to the point of being dry and unappetizing. The only bright spot was the super nice young waitress, and I truly felt sorry for her; she deserves to work at a better restaurant. I can assure you this place is not locally own... 3.75 Place was clean. Service was extremely slow, over an hour for royal reds and crab claws and my wife?s shrimp meal. Crab Claws $42 for a 1/2lb don?t mind paying it if you can eat all the meat of the claws. Good flavor but over done. $39 for a pound of Royal Reds. All over done, all hard to peel again flavor was good just over cooked. Don?t mind paying for good food but my portion of the meal was not worth $70. My wife?s $42 meal was not memorable.
We went here while on Vacation at Dauphin Island. Food was great!! Had all the options we were looking for when it came to Seafood. The kids menu was hands down best kids menu I've seen. They realize kids like more than just tenders, burgers, hot dogs, and mac n cheese. The wait staff was also great, and made sure we had everything we needed. My one complaint is its not on Dauphin Island with a view, cause it should be.

This review is based on my recent visit. Overall I would give it 3 and a half stars. They had only 2 people work the restaurant. I guess another waitress was helping in the kitchen. The wait time to just get someone to the table was super long, (one couple waiting left after a while) Yet the staff did the best they could and my waitress was very attentive to my special request. Unfortunately, they were out of the fresh Oysters I was looking forward to. I went with the
Wonderful experience! Excellent service! Delicious food with huge servings! And the picture was taken AFTER I had eaten myself full.
