Contribute FeedbackBaja Cantina, once a beloved dining destination in The Woodlands, has become a mixed bag of experiences. While the food, including tacos and unique dishes like the Nacho Tower, consistently impresses with quality and flavor, service has noticeably declined. Patrons report long waits for drinks and food, and recent reservations have often led to disappointment with seating arrangements. Yet, the ambiance remains vibrant, especially on the patio, complemented by friendly staff and attentive management. Despite the culinary highlights, inconsistent service has left many questioning their loyalty, prompting a search for alternative dining spots nearby.
Our waiter is sucked. wrong eating delivered to our table. the same food was sent back and returned to a table behind us. as ironic. the ordered drinks and it took forever to get them.
Mother’s Day. Took forever for a menu. Long wait for silverware. Long wait to order. All good finally arrived and then they tell my dad they are out of his dish. So another 30 minutes to bring him food and we are all finished eating.
Good easy place to go in The W. Wish we couldve sat outside but full. Inside was fine esp with the A/C. Service was good until the end as I think our waitress forgot about us and the check. The bathroom line was tough to watch b/c its only room for 1 at a time. Great tasting food and the drinks were good too.
We went for Mothers day and the special eggs Benedict were sooo good. It was great sitting on the patio for brunch and having Mimosas! Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is totally fun!
SUPER disappointed. We made a reservation here before a concert at The Woodlands. It was only four of us, and we thought we’d get there early have a drink and an appetizer and then head out. Upon arriving at the restaurant (earlier than our reservation) we told the gentleman at the host stand our name and that we had a reservation. He proceeded to then look around the restaurant, wait a moment, and tell us “well it’ll be about 25-30 minutes for a table inside and the only one we have outside is directly in the sunlight.” If you’re going to take a reservation that specifically said indoor dining, you might want to have a table available? It seemed like not only did this gentleman not want to be there, but couldn’t care less about us. He was rude and arrogant. BUT we did go next door to Bar Louie and I couldn’t recommend them more!!!! The food, atmosphere, drinks, and service are always INCREDIBLE. Don’t waste your time at Baja Cantina. There are far better restaurants in the woodlands, and definitely better Mexican than a place that advertises (Cali-Mex)
