I love this place!! The staff, ambience and food are amazing. I have only one complaint. This was my first time going since the pandemic. The crawfish salad has always been a favorite. This time around it wasn't so good. The crawfish were tiny and few which is the opposite of how it was before. The rest of the food was delicious though. A wonderful experience and I will return! What Stephen W doesn't like about High Street Cafe:
Be aware that this new incarnation bears little resemblance to the old High Street Cafe. The good news is that there is an opportunity for someone to open a Cajun styled restaurant in West Chester now. View all feedback.
Best blackened chicken and seafood in the area. Loved, loved, loved the voodoo crawfish appetizer. Jambalaya fettuccine was perfect. Live jazz music was the finishing touch to finish a long week.
Different Cheesesteak #902. If you like cajun, the High Street Caffe is for you. Very cool New Orleans decor. Lots of purple. The cheesesteak is $10 and comes with cajun fries. It's cajun but not overly spicy. It has sausage, peppers and cajun stuff mixed in. Don is a great host. The waitress was awesome. She knew the menu and was very patient and helpful. I would go now while they are BYOB and the college students aren't back. Carole was an amazing dinner date.
Food was very good. I felt the $10 on corking fee per bottle was a little expensive but what are you going to do, it's better than paying $8 for a glass of wine? Ambiance is a little off only because I'm not a big fan of The color purple LOL... very very interesting and eclectic menu
Great little Cajun restaurant. Crawfish Jambalaya was bangin. Server was excellent
Its BYOB. Food is very close to what you would expect in New Orleans. Don't pass this one up.
