Flying Biscuit - The Villages

This is my favorite spot for breakfast. The eggs are consistently fluffy and buttery, the bacon is always crispy, and the grits are wonderful!

The waffles were good but I ordered the eggs over MEDIUM and they were over hard and terrible so they did not follow the instructions on the eggs. Just for the future it would be nice if they would follow how you want the eggs done.

I had a decent breakfast here and appreciated that they ask how you like your eggs. However, they never seem to send the orange juice, so don't bother ordering it. The sausages weren’t cooked well; they looked fresh out of the package and didn’t resemble the picture at all. That said, everything else was quite good, and the grits were really nice!

The food is always decent, but this restaurant consistently takes a long time to prepare orders. During my last visit, it took nearly an hour to get a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit and the "Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes" from Drops of Jupiter. It felt like it took ages to receive my order. I wouldn't recommend this place if you need your food in a timely manner.

Come hungry! This restaurant serves up delicious comfort food in generous portions! Before the main course, they treat you to a sugar-dusted cookie paired with apple butter—delicious! I had the eggs, bacon, and cheese sandwich, which came with a hefty serving of crispy bacon and fried home potatoes on the side. Next time, I’ll have to remind the waitress to toast the English muffin; I'm not sure if that’s a standard practice. Moving on to the dirty bird (chicken and waffles): the waffle was incredible—super soft on the inside with a perfect crisp on the outside. It practically melted in my mouth when paired with syrup and smooth cream. The egg was cooked to perfection, and while the chicken was flavorful, it lacked a bit of crunch. Overall, it was a delightful experience! I definitely left feeling like I was in a food coma, and I can’t wait to try more dishes, especially the French toast and Georgia peach waffles!
