Guests rave about the welcoming atmosphere, complemented by friendly staff who ensure every need is met. While some vegan options may not be explicitly listed, the ability to adapt vegetarian dishes promotes inclusivity. Diners delight in flavorful offerings, ranging from braised beef to delicious shared plates, and the desserts, especially the sticky toffee pudding, leave a lasting impression. Overall, it promises a satisfying culinary experience for all, leaving customers eager to return.
Although there were no specific vegan options advertised on the menu, the waitress informed us that some of the vegetarian dishes could be made vegan. We opted for a vegetable curry as our vegan choice, and tomato pasta for the kids. Unfortunately, the pasta came with butter-based garlic bread and a dairy ice cream dessert, which we had to send back. The overall taste of the food was satisfactory, but we had some doubts about the restaurant's ability to cater to vegan diets. They do offer sweet potato fries on the menu, which is a vegan-friendly option.
A lovely pub located directly across from Ogmore Castle.
There is nothing but vegan advertised on the menu, there are a number of vegetarian options that the waitress told us could be made vegan, but these were mainly different cheese dishes. We had vegetables curry as vegan, and tomatoes pasta for the children, the pasta came with butter base garlic bread (and milk ice cream dessert, which only had to be returned) The food we had was nice enough, but I had a nasty feeling they could not trust for vegan. They fried sweet potato on the menu.
A lovely pub located directly across from Ogmore Castle.
