Sea View Fish - The Vale of Glamorgan

There are many fish and chip places in Barry. This is a little up the hill and was less busy. The server was very friendly and was courteous and the queue went along quickly. £12.95 for fish and chips and curry sauce and can of coke not a problem. Batter was a tad too greasy and the chips a little squidgy but nothing terrible. The batter was a little thick and the fish was therefore not as big as expected. However, we shared one portion between two and it was fine. Would I rush back. Possibly not, only because I like to try other places but I would visit again as nothing was terrible, just not fabulous.

I had the mince beef pie and it was absolutely terrible. None of us could even finish it without feeling sick. I would never go back to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.

Wow fantastic fish and chips! Quick, great service, crispy batter. Defo worth a visit! Easy to find on the sea front .

Not sure why there's so many bad ratings we had a great time there. The line was short, the staff were nice and the chips were great. Would definitely go again.

Travelled to Barry with my girlfriend for my birthday. Absolutely enjoyed it until we went to this place. We were long debating what to eat and we decided this would be the place. It was busy (not an issue) however, when we got to the front to place our order, a male began laughing whilst looking at my girlfriend while she was ordering. I looked at him and I asked him what was so funny. He looked at me and said nothing but continued to smirk and laugh. I asked him again but this time he ignored me so I asked him once more and he responded ‘nothing’. Whatever he was laughing at I don’t know but he clearly has no people skills and is a vile being. He shouldn’t be working around people if that’s his attitude. He really made my girlfriend feel like and made her feel very insecure. Never again.
