I had the Sunday dinner for my son-in-law's birthday and it was fantastic. It was the best Sunday dinner I have ever had. The service was excellent and accompanied by cheerful smiles. I highly recommend this place. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Llanerch Vineyard:
I've got to say the service in the main restaurant today terrible. The young blonde girl that attended our table couldn't have been any more unwelcoming if she tried. First 2 courses were lovely, when asked if we would like dessert menus were literally thrown...onto the table. We were glad to see it wasn't just us and she had the same attitude to others. Dessert was also a big disappointment, I think going for these... View all feedback.
50th birthday party for my sister. we had a nice lunch today. good food, good service, wonderful environment. recommended for a special day.
We booked on line and knew it was Sunday lunch all day Sunday. We were seated immediately and they have a nice wine list with wines other than their own. My friend ordered lamb to be told there wasn’t any, no Welsh lamb in a...Welsh restaurant she was gutted. She ordered chicken and I had beef, plus a bottle of French wine. It came with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and dishes of vegetables, they were very good, but no stuffing with the chicken. Despite her overwhelming disappointment over the lamb my friend was making the best of it, as the staff were lovely, great ambiance in the restaurant and the food was very good. Then a dog started barking in the restaurant, we were shocked as Llanerch sent us a book of rules with our booking clearly stating no dogs in the restaurant! We have big issue with dogs being in a place where food is being served. Interestingly at breakfast the next morning when the dog owners came with the dog for breakfast they were told no! No dogs in the restaurant. Breakfast was very good, we didn’t want all the breakfast so we asked for specific items and they were so obliging and the food was again very good. If the dog had not been allowed in we would have given 5 stars despite the lack of lamb.
We booked evening meal to celebrate my 73rd birthday and my wife's birthday. We birh ordered the Black Pudding Scotch Egg to start and when it arrived we both looked at each other and thought what is this. It was half an egg wrapped in...some form of coating. For main course I had the sirloin steat and that was it, all sides were £5 extra per portion, my wife had the seafood linguine which was spoilt by the excess of chilli they had added to the dish. The cheese cake was OK. When paying the billl the waitress asked if I wanted to add the 10% service charge to my bill, I declined offer and told her offer and told her I would put money in their tip box which I did. To my surprise when I got home and checked the bill she had added the 10%. One cannot speak to anyone by telephone to complain only by email were you get a standard reply telling you they are very busy. Will never return here.

First 2 courses were lovely, when asked if we would like dessert menus were literally thrown...onto the table. We were glad to see it wasn't just us and she had the same attitude to others. Dessert was also a big disappointment, I think going for these deconstructed desserts are a big risk and just put together the flavours so that you can enjoy the experience would be better. For 2 good courses I have never left a restaurant so flat and disappointed.
Afternoon tea not the best but not the worse. For the price I would say average. I think more than one coffee should be included in the premium afternoon tea. No complaints and the setting is really stunning so definitely worth a visit. I...would like to return for a stay over and dinner in the restaurant. It would be nice to eat out on the terrace on a sunny day but I do appreciate that afternoon tea and outside eating doesn’t bode well
