Lovely menu catering for most tastes. Service was good , but they were very busy. Good food and atmosphere. Very near large supermarket, great for a coffee break and a nibble of something tasty! View all feedback.
What llanmedos doesn't like about Aroma:
If you have to sit near the counter, just hope that the staff do NOT have to make too many Smoothies or Frappes( I think those are the drinks that require the noisy machine) as there is a very loud unpleasant row from the counter area.As far as the food goes, ok is as good as it gets. I had the Bacon and Brie toasted sandwich and have to say that I have possibly been spoilt at The Windsor Cafe in Penarth as well as T... View all feedback.
We called here for coffee. The music was so loud that we thought we were in disco? When mention to girl totally in different. Give this place a miss
Not sure what has happened here whether they have new owners or money issues but much has changed in the last few months. The quality of the meals has dropped significantly along with some items that they would usually serve with the meals and coffee. This used to be a lovely place that my wife always visited when in Cowbridge. Alas no more visits here.
I am a local and a regular customer at the cafe and go there at least once a week. Recently I have noticed customers are taken for granted and there is no way to speak with the manager. For example, a smoked salmon and avocado bagel is priced at £8.5 with a waiting time of 25 minutes (minimum! . After 25 minutes of waiting the waitress comes and says we have run out of avocado are you OK if we replace it with chopped tomato? I reluctantly say yes and think about the price difference between avocado and tomato! and whether or not they will give me some money back (there is even no offer of get your money back . Few minutes later, the plate turns up with one bagel sitting in the middle, a modest slice of smoked salmon and sliced tomato. No side salad, no crisps nothing! I make an effort to support a local cafe and this is how the managing team respond to the local support. I find this behaviour insulting and unacceptable.
The cafe is pleasant as were the staff but £3.70 for a latte is over the top and food though nice was too expensive, so we won’t be visiting again, such a shame
Popped in here. Ordered 2 coffees and 2 custard slices. The bill came to over £16. Worked it out that it cost £4.50 for each custard slice. Outrageous prices! Recommend avoiding as all you get is a hefty bill and a view of a waitrose store roof that definitely needs a power wash. I know prices have gone up but these prices were appalling!
