The Push down at the rocks has had a bit of change moving from pub kitchen/tapas into more of a smallbar/cocktail venue with an extended cocktail list (heaps at : and most eats under Considering the location this commands at the undeniably touristy end of The Rocks, it is somewhat surprising prices are this reasonable in this sandstone/heritage reworked smallbar. What Whitney Witting doesn't like about The Push - The Russell Hotel:
the manager and the guard didn't let me in and claimed I accused them of racist. it is the watchman who used the word racist. the manager claimed that I didn't get in fortune of the last war sa, but I. what happened after I checked in, the watchman told me I can't order any drinks. I was confused. Why am I limited by the order? this is not the way to treat their customers. View all feedback.
Was there last week and enjoyed pianist. tonight with my daughter, a common bottle of wine after eating, and was said I wouldn't allow because to intoxicate! the security at the door, my daughter and I were all equally shocked, so went to another place, to a beautiful place on the harbour, where we both came in without hesitation and were greeted by friendly staff. very bizarre experience, but happy to spend elsewhere.
A few quick beers on the high chairs and fresh chips with aioli was enough to ensure that one of our on the list of places to go in the rocks. the bathrooms were clean and there was a performance to happen later. a great mood.

There was no opportunity that suggested that it could be rowwise and crowded, so it is a good place for occasional chats with their kumpels I got my favorite Bilpin table to be ready for a tourist party.
Here a few drinks and a kind of atmosphere and a great selection of drinks. really good specificities on a Friday night like pints of boutique bier.

The rocket leaves in the salad were old and at the point where the leaves were translucent and looked more like seaweed. The squid was a strange texture and very oily. It looked more like soggy chips dripping in oil. How they can charge for the squid alone is beyond me. We told the lady behind the bar whom we ordered the food from that we weren't enjoying the food and we explained why. She apologised and said leave it with me We assumed this meant something would be done to rectify the...read more
