We happened to just drop by this place for a quick wine beer on the way home. We are so happy we did. A big shout-out to the owner Sus who is such a great host and makes you feel so comfortable. The service was really good. The beers were even better. German proven beer. Thanks for the tips for our sightseeing really made our day.
The owner is a funny great woman, the food was Fab, so it is the selection of beers.
That was my local hangout while I lived nearby. It is still authentic and has the atmosphere of the original Stoof or even earlier Stoofje . However, food has improved. I can recommend the burger who is very good. The only thing I don't like (but understand) is the TV screens on the wall. But hey... Times change...

My favourite bar in The Hague. Cozy pub feel, lovely beer, lovely food, lovely people. Gezellig!
